We have just returned from a week in N Devon and used three of their walk guides.
We rode the Tarka Trail from Braunton to Meethe and arrived back at Torrington just after the Puffing Billy had stopped serving food; having cycled 41 miles with 20 more to go, we were rather keen to "re-fuel". The landlord was brilliant; although his kitchens had closed he managed to suppled hot baguettes with salad and was extremely courteous and keen to avoid disappointment. Very highly recommended.
The walk's instructions are exceptional; easily the best we've seen, very clear to follow and awkward bits always identified and very carefully explained. Includes the often forgotten parts of how to get to the start and where to park safely.
