Digital mapping GPS downloads
 To enable you to benefit from our GPS downloads, you will need to be able to read the file. You will also need a GPS that can download tracks, so not the basic models. Lastly, you will need mapping of the south west peninsula. This mapping can be either OS 1:50000 or a range of the 1:25000.
The files are created in Tracklogs, not Memory Map. To use the files you will need to purchase the OS map of the south west from www.tracklogs.co.uk. You will then be able to see the route on your computer and decide to download it to your GPS.
Tracklogs have recently reduced the cost of their OS digital maps making them easily affordable. Ones for the National Parks, such as Exmoor cost just £9.95. The one for a region such as the south west cost £19.95 for the 1:50000 OS map. This makes these maps cheaper than the equivalent paper ones. |
